Abilities
Natural inclinations toward or ability to quickly master a particular skill (both physical and mental).
- What are your talents?
- What is your academic/work history?
- In what areas have you received awards and recognition?
Values
Personal standards that you feel to be extremely important.
- What kind of lifestyle do you desire?
- What must you achieve in life to be happy (money, prestige, service to others, etc.)?
- What does meaningful work look like to you?
As you explore, think about your dislikes too. They can be just as telling as the things you like.
